At sAme sAme we don’t just cook Thai food. Head Chef Arté Assavakavinvong and his team capture this by using the best produce available and traditional cooking methods:  hot coals in searing hot woks. The team works tirelessly to create an experience that captures all of the influences and intricacies the endlessly inspiring country of Thailand has to offer. Thai cuisine and dining culture is immensely varied and explorative, due to its climate, geography and culture. Arté captures that diversity using authentic ingredients cooked over coals and in searing-hot woks. The menu offers diners favourites and seasonal specials that encourage returning and new diners alike.

The drink offerings are in the spirit of the food and the service, with a special priority of freshness, uniqueness and fun. A creative list of cocktails that incorporate local produce and captures the spirit of the venue, twists on classics and modern favourites. The wine list is expansive, a 140-bottle list that focuses on primarily Riesling, Côtes du Rhône and Rosé, with plenty of local producers who practice sustainable viticulture.

If you're heading upstairs, you'll find our bar LOS, with an extensive collection of rare Tequilas and Mezcals. Weekly DJ's and a view of Ada lane in this moody, green space make for a perfect date or pre-dinner drink destination.

We offer three unique spaces that are perfect in catering for a range of events. A private dining room for the more intimate celebrations or corporate catch ups, LOS cocktail bar for a party or the option to really bring everyone together by booking the entire restaurant.

Head Chef Arté Assavakavinvong and his team capture this by using the best produce available and traditional cooking methods:  hot coals in searing hot woks. To dine, there is a mix of menu favourites and seasonal specials that encourage returning and new diners alike. The drink offerings are crafted with the same ethos, prioritising freshness and fun. A creative list of cocktails that incorporate local produce and capture the spirit of the venue. The wine list is expansive, a 140-bottle list that focuses on primarily Riesling, Côtes du Rhône and Rosé, with plenty of local producers who practice sustainable viticulture. The design for the venue was presided over by Richards and Spence - concrete, cream and precise geometry spread out over two levels in a style that echoes our wonderful neighbour, The Calile Hotel.

There are many ways to dine in this multifaceted restaurant - the bustling communal table, a long bench by the window to watch passersby, or right in the action facing the open kitchen. Dishes reflect the dynamism and intricacies of Thai cuisine, respectful of the country’s varied climate, geography and culture. All these things make sAme sAme the fast paced, vibrant place it is.
